size for popup platform??

I'm looking at building a platform to put a popup on for next season. I'd like it big enough to hunt at least two hunters out of, maybe as many as three.

What works best? sizes? dimensions? building materials?

What says the green screen?

I built this one back In September. It's 8' x 8' on the platform and 8' tall. Used 4x4 posts.

I would say it depends on the pop up being used, and where you are putting it. The size of the platform just needs to fit the popup. That's also going to make the difference on how many people you can hunt.

I built one 6x8 and 3 ft off the ground

8' x 8' and about 18" off the ground. Just wanted to get off the ground and not worry about snakes.

8x8 that's the dimensions I use for mine. About 12-18" legs underneath. Cover my floors with carpet, makes for a comfy, quiet sit and plenty room for the kiddo.

8 x 8 makes it easy to get in and is easy to make because you have very minimal sawing.

I have one 6x6 and 6' tall built from 2 7/8" pipe and angle iron with door in the floor.

i went 6 x 6 (8 foot tall) with plans to construct a permanent structure to replace the pop-up soon...

I built this a couple years ago. The base is 6'x6' and it's all made to take apart to travel.

I built mine 6'x6' and 2ft tall and it was perfect for me.
