No more COLD feet or toes

This past week while in Kansas we had 4 or more inches of snow and temps as low as 6 degrees. When it was in the low 20's it was windy.
One pair of Lopren wool socks and 400 grain insulated boots did the trick when a pair of Toasty Toes where used.
These are like those had warmers that come in those little bags but are thinner and are curved on one end. You stick them on the bottom of your toes and slide on your boots. NICE!!!!
    Anyone tried these before??

Having them for three years but not as impressed as you are. If my feet sweat they get even colder. I wore my heater body suit two weeks ago there when it was windchill of 8 degrees.

Nope, I've tried the hand warmers though. Wasn't that impressed with the hand warmers though.

Been using them for 20 yrs. gotta let them get hot before you put'em in the boot.

I'm a believer in them. Used them last week and they did the trick.

Haven't been in that kinda cold but the Artic Shield insulated boot covers work well also.

I was up there as well and that's what I used. Got along pretty good with that setup. Was 3 degrees when I left my truck for the tree one morning!!

Those have been around for many years and do work great. Like stated above though, you have to let them heat up in open air before sticking them in your boots.

They can be found at pretty much any store...Wal Mart, Target, Cabela's, Academy, etc. I recently used a different version I found at Academy. Instead of just the toe piece, the thin layer looks like an insole that covers about 75% of your foot. Helps keep more of your foot warm.

The heating pads that go on the bottom of your feet work different than the hand warmers. The foot one react to O2 and then when confined they heat up, so when there in your boots they are confined. the hand warmers react to O2 and keep warming with access to O2. I used the foot ones last week and worked well.

Maybe I have not let them warm up enough before use but my experience is they are useless

How long are y'all leaving them out to warm before putting on sock and into boot?

I take them out and put them in immediately, I found that the more you move around in them, the warmer they get. I got out of my stand to track a buck I shot and had to stop and take them out cause they were getting really hot.
