My Dad called me up and asked me to come down and shoot a cull eight for him on his lease in Bracketville. I passed up a 135 mainframe 8 (9 point with kicker on G-2) at 50 yards for a larger deer the first morning only to not see a bigger one and shoot this one on the last evening hunt. 4.5 years...mainframe 8 with one kicker on each G-2 and a kicker coming from the back of the base.....light on the mass and he needed to go. Just wish I would have pulled the trigger morning #1 as I would have shoulder mounted that one. He'll make a good Euro though......scored 120-7/8....160 yards on the dot via rangefinder
Now its on to concentrating on a archery mentality......
