Too late to set up new feeder?

my father -in-law has about 15-20 acres around Poteet and recently they have had deer movement in the back of the property. I asked if I could put up a feeder and he said yes. The problem is that there isn't much area to hunt. I can put a feeder up but where it would sit I only have maybe 50 yards north and south before hitting fence line (no one actually lives in the adjacent properties) and the property behind backs up into an open wide empty property. I'm a hunter on a budget so this is a pretty sweet deal, but I don't want to do anything illegal. What do ya'll think?

Nothing illegal as long as you have permission. May be close to the fences but no laws stating you can't hunt there that I know of.

The property is actually in Sumerset, a few miles north of Poteet. And yes TopNoc, that's where that one guy took that monster buck.
