Are these okay for shop use?

Are these okay to use inside a shop? I have a 30'x50' shop I am needing to take the chill out of the air.

If you have access to cheap wood then go with a wood stove and a little fan. It does well in my 30x70.

This isn't answering your question about the specific heater but I would go with a wood burner or the salamander heater. I have a Tractor Supply diesel salamander that works great

I have a salamander type heater that runs on propane. Does not give off that diesel odor. Bought it at HD several years ago at the end of the season. Does a good job of heating my garage in the winter. We also use it at the camp.

I had one of those patio heaters, and tried it in my 30x40. It works great if you stand right next to it, but thats about it. My brother brought his salamander over, and it put out some heat. It was loud, and sometimes smelly, but it warmed the whole shop up.

Is it as loud as the diesel?

the salemander is the forced air diesel and yes it makes some noise. It is by far the best for warming a large area.

To your original question, I would feel perfectly safe using the propane one you pictured in a shop.

I know that, & that was not my question.
