Can anyone update the rut activity around Johnson City?

I have a trip planned the weekend after Thanksgiving. I think I will be too late, but wanted to get an update.

I was at Pedernales Falls State Park a couple weeks ago. It was mostly bachelor groups but we did see a little bit of chasing going on. Not much though.

I drove thru there about ten days ago at night and had to try hard not to hit bucks. They were running everywhere. Small bodied deer by the way. Almost tiny, I bet bucks didn't weigh 100lbs.

In McLennan County the Rut is Definitely on.

Hunted Blanco County on the 23rd and 24th and they were chasing. We ended up taking an 8 point who was scent checking the feeders.
