1st hunt of the year live in west Texas

Been a little crazy so far this deer season with kid activities. This is hunt #1 for the year. Had to be in Odessa this morning to train some guys on roll grooving so I decided I would cut out early and head to Stonewall County to get an evening hunt in. It is still very green here. We moved the cows out of this pasture so the hunting should be good. I am in my favorite place to sit. The barn of death as it is called. Just got here and settled in for the evening. I will hunt in the morning also then I have to head to Amarillo and will be back to hunt Thursday evening and Friday morning. Let's do this man.

It is still very green here. The mesquites have not lost leaves yet. I am over looking a big draw

Feeder just went off. No sightings yet but the ground is bare under the feeder.

How far is that feeder from the stand? Looks pretty far, but that could be from the camera's perspective...

125 yards from barn to feeder.
