    Extreme LED light

Any chevy owners out there have one?

    #2
Had 2 bolted to the bottom of my rear bumper on our old lease truck. Made backing up a trailer a breeze at night as well as we used it to light up the skinning rack. They were Bluewater LED "brand" though.

Havnt looked at the prices from the new TBH sponsor but I will now, need some for my truck.

I'm hoping to get a pair of these to cut into my factory silverado bumper.

I need to find somebody who has this light mounted on the grill. I do not have a bumper ground to mount this light.

How are you going to wire them for the Chevy?

When I did a similar setup, I used a relay tapped into the trailer plug constant hot for power and tapped the reverse light at the tail light harness. The relay helps to keep from pulling to much on the factory switch

There you go. I would probably take it to an electrician. There is a thread on another forum where a guy has done what I'm talking about but he wired to a switch.

Ive got 2 (different brand but same basic light) flood beams mounted into my back bumper, and they make night into day when backing up. I have them wired directly into my reverse lights. I also have 2 6" bars with driving and floods mounted in the air vent on my bumper that are wired into my high beams. They are so bright they make my low beams look like driving by candle light. I can see deer in the ditches at over 100yds.

                    Back

Front. Lights aren't installed yet, but you can see the vent Im talking about, and why I ran 2 6" bars. Had to have a license plate and didn't want to pay for a big bar that would be half covered.

wonder how I can mount them to my stock front end. I do not have a grill guard or heavy duty bumper like that one.

I'm guessing your back bumper is a ranch hand too? I'm really going to have to look into this

I couldn't find anything on how it mounted, but Google Images is full of pictures of guys that put them in the front air vent in the bumper. Somebody has to make a bracket to put it there.
