Key to debate is to disagree agreeably. Basic problem with any written communication is that you can't "hear" joking meaning that would be conveyed in person; often leads to misunderstandings. Plus, some are overly sensitive to perceived slights that may or may not even be intended. Plus, it's against the rules to discuss the reasons threads may be deleted. Therefore, this thread is most likely doomed......

And some threads are appropriate for debate and some aren't... i didnt see the thread in question because I have been watching my kiddo play baseball all day however I believe the thread in question was a hunter excited about a buck he harvested and it turned into a HF/LF debate. That is not the time or place for that debate... just like on my thread where I killed a spike 2 weeks ago, if it had turned into a to shoot spikes or not debate, wouldn't have been okay...
