    Big Shoutout to Flufster!!!

Shot a doe yesterday afternoon...could tell I possibly hit her a little back...found a few spots of blood and lost her trail in some thick stuff. Gave Chris a call to see if he wanted to put Scout on a fresh trail...he brought him out and went right to her! If you're in the Dfw area and happen to need a tracking dog don't hesitate to give this man a call! Thanks buddy!!

No problem. Just glad we found her! It was the first time my dog had come up on one that was still standing so it was good work for him and me both. Just goes to show how valuable these dogs are as a tool. That doe wasn't 20 yards from last blood but I was just feet from her and couldn't see her till she rose up out of the dark. That stuff was thick! Worked out good since the hour and 45 min drive took the kids just 40 minutes from grandma's house! Lol. Enjoyed it and thanks for the post. Hopefully more people will back out early and call for a dog as soon as they know something is wrong.

Y'all are cracking me up. The love should be for the dog. As soon as he learns to drive, he will start leaving me at home

That dog has curled up and slept in my lap in camp.... wait .... was that Scout or Chris?

Grats on a good find for Scout and the willingness of Chris to take the time to go run it. Good dog. Good person.

Nah, he'll still need you to scratch his belly.

OP, congrats on the kill. Good job to Scout.

I don't know. That Flufster guy has those shifty, shady looking eyes. You better watch out for him. He's an odd character.

Chris: make yourself useful and feed the dog.
