    Bass Hall and the FWSO

So I just got tickets for my wife and I to go see the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra preform Handels "Messiah". My question is for those who have been before. What is the proper attire? For both me and my wife. TY

It's always been pretty formal when I've been......then again I've only been there for Merle Haggard, Robert Earl Keen, and Ryan Bingham....they aint exactly orchestra shows.

Slacks and a nice button down shirt is fine. Polish your boots. If you have a jacket, it is not a bad idea (I don't own a jacket or tie, so I go without)

Mrs can wear a nice dress or slacks.

You will probably see people wearing everything from a tux to blue jeans.

That is a show they do every year, and it is quite good. I've been to it a couple of times.

I have been to a couple of performances there. I usually wear slacks and a sports coat. I hate wearing a tie so I leave it at the house.
You will probably see a little of everything though. Last time I went the were guys in tuxedos and guys in blue jeans with boots.
