Want to and dont feel like it!!?!?!

The older i get it the more powerful my Dont feel like it gets. When i was younger my Want to always over powered my Dont feel like its. Not now, the Dont feel like its win every battle. Take this morning. I was Wanting to go hunting but my Dont feel like its beat the daylights out of my Want too. Yet another victory for DFLI:thumbdown:

I totally understand. In addition, my BS tolerance has dropped dramatically.

Go get em even if you get out there a little late. I've found it to be more enjoyable when I'm not rushing. Do it for us that will be on the time clock today .

I hear you. Only thing that beats my "don't feel like it" these days is my "have to". My "tolerance for BS" is reading zero and my "don't give a chit anymore" is right around 99%. Old age is a wonderful thing.

I am the same way. I have been beating myself up over it too. It is not that I am lazy as I will work my butt off clearing brush out a fenceline or other such jobs. I just have become tired of doing some things that need doing over again in a few days, like washing windows or wet mopping the shop floor. Freezing on a hunt is not high on the list of things to do either. Maybe just a walk with the bow for a hour or so wouldn't be so bad though. It might get the blood flowing a bit. Better get moving. You talked me into it.

funny...I just posted how (at age 41) I was up at 430 this morning because I'm leaving for the lease today....so I don't share your feeling in this area....however,

I totally have that feeling in a LOT of other areas. I find myself making plans...and then finding a reason to get out of them and just stay home. My wife is the same way...so it's terrible.

Be careful though...I think there's a tipping point into depression at some point. We need activity and interactions (not online only) with people and things....so stay healthy and fight through it sometimes....

Change want into WILL and send it over to kick don’t right square in the rump!

Then get out there and KILL something…….

Good luck Sean, and I hope you get out of your funk.

I know what you mean. Conditions have to be just right to get me out in the mornings.

I got it too. My lease is 5 miles away and I have only been hunting 2 times this year. Don't feel like it win every time when it is cold.

Well I'm 43 and just spent out first night at home with twin girls. I already had a guilty feeling of being "lazy" because of my don't want tos. After last night, I can't remember what it was that I did, or didn't want to do...

I'm on that team, just turned 60, and getting up out of a warm bed. Well, I'm not as mad at those deer, and I just don't want too.
