Bloomington/Normal Illinois?????

I'm stuck going to a wedding that my wife is in for her best friend. I will be there hanging out with nothing to do from about 8pm Thursday-Friday at 5 or so. I know it's a long shot, but if there are any TBHers in this area of the world that would like to meet up, I'd love to. And for anyone whose familiar with the area, what am I gonna do there while my wife is bachlorette partying, hair, makeup, pictures, blah, blah, blah. my only commitment is the actual wedding at 6 on Friday?

Man not sure what to tell you to do, my wife has a bunch of family in Pekin right outside Bloomington but I just spend time with my BIL looking at leases.

went to college there, stayed a couple years after as well. Not a ton to do, but a lot has changed in 15 years.

I miss eating at Avanti's.

I used to go to Fat Jacks downtown Bloomington. Great bar where we could smoke cigars. Unless you like the college bar scene, probably not for you.

Sorry I cant help, but thanks for letting me remember good old times.

Avanti's is my wife's favorite. she tells me how great it is and how much she misses the gondolas. I just showed her this thread and she told me, "see I told you Avanti's is awesome, even your TBH guys thinks so." funny stuff. thanks for info keep it coming.
