Movement in Wise County

This afternoon after 3-4 days of not seeing any deer, I looked out the back window and saw two grazing around the feeder.

Later my sister who was coming out to the house called me and said she saw roughly 15 deer about 1/2 to 3/4 mile away.

Come on artic front.

Who else is getting movement in the open again?

Around noon today i was driving through some neighborhoods and the deer were moving great. Lots of bucks with does and fawns are not with a lot of the does anymore.

The two I saw were fawns that were with a doe up until a week ago.......

I'm taking off Wed-Sun for the front and rut. Hope to get a buck. Been picky so far (6 years...) so I will try and refrain from shooting a young buck. Passed a 14" 8/9 point a couple of weeks ago and a gun hunter shot him this last weekend. Guess he looked bigger in the scope...
