Gable glass windows are getting installed as we speak. Then it will be totally in the dry. Also supposed to meet my guy who will be doing AC, septic, and possibly electrical as well

Nice cabin. Just curious how you are going to keep the termites out of it!

Used a 30 year termicide on the pad before we poured the slab. And sprayed the exterior with perma chink shell guard as well. No one I've talked to that has a Satterwhite log home has had issues with termites. Including several folks on here

Here are some pics I took with my wife's good camera. Gable glass is done and the plumbers are almost done with vent work.

                          Finally, live log cabin build!!

Got the plumbing topped out for the most part. Once were back from Sonic National Convention we will start running electrical here and there between hunts. Original goal was Christmas of next year due to money but hopefully we can beat that and maybe be done before hunting season next year. Slow process. Time is plenty but money is not so we're just saving what we can every month until we have enough to do something else on the list.

Been several months since I posted on this thread. We are about 90% through with the wiring on the house. Just need to mount can lights in the cathedral ceiling, and install outdoor outlets and plugs for stove and dryer. Went way faster than we thought. Hard work but had fun doing it. Pics below. Next up is heating and air once we get the cash saved up.

Also forgot to mention of course we still need to mount and wire the breaker box as well.
