Taste real similar to axis, fallow to me.... cook it the same as deer meat.

Taste great. Cook like any deer meat. I let mine bleed out just like deer. 5-7 days on ice

I like it better than whitetail.

Almost as good as axis, not as good as elk. Eat it as rare as you can stand, including burgers. It is very good, dark red meat. It is not fatty, but it is tender even in the hams. Definitely in my top three of game meats, but I have not had many exotics.

very, very, very good. like a mini elk. same as a whitetail for cooking ideas.

I hope to be trying some after my next exotic hunt. I have been told its the best tasting exotic.
