    Hunting hogs in Elgin help!!

They come in at the same time every night on camera. When I hunt I hear them come right up to the feeder but never commit. I hunt 15ft up, scent shower and spray, sneak in and play the wind. I've used feeder lights and complete dark. Same out come. Should I enter my blind from a different direction? I've hunted and killed lots of game but this particular group is giving me a run!! Any suggestions?

My boots aren't rubber but they are the same style.

Seriously, I would trap those and hunt the next batch that shows up.

Too many social dynamics in a hog sounder to wait em out.

Trap em and you might get rid of the one causing the problem.

Then stick arrow or lead in the others.

That's true. The group will come in and hang tight right outside the opening. There is one hog in particular that will walk all around huffin and grunting. Then will make a nose like a deer blowing and they all tear out.

You just need me to come put and kill them Anthony. Try hunting off the feeder where they come in from.

Sounds like you know where they are stopping at... set up a different tripod ambush spot 20 yards from where they stop and take out the sentry pig.

U have a smart one. Trap with gate tied open let them get use to it. Then set the trap catch the whole sounder.

They are smelling you if a hog is huffing/blowing at you. Change up your approach, either bruch in a ground blind in the woods or throw up an elevated stand to intercept em when they hang up. Good luck!

Hand corn the heck out of the area they are stopping at and see if you can find a spot along the way.
