Need A Starter Put On In San Antonio

I think my starter is shot and need to find someone to put one on in SE San Antonio. Located Loop 410 south at Hwy 35. Not stranded but on foot. Chevy dealer said it would be week before they could put one on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I was headed out to scout Bullis after the rains and the starter on the truck wouldn't work. So I spent most of the morning trying to find someone to put on a new one. Then I posted a help wanted thread on TBH, Dale's referral to Temple Hill Automotive on Goliad Rd saved the day. For sure great people to work with, 1.5hrs after the wrecker dropped it off I was back on the road and was able to get some of my rat killing done. But most of all it puts me in my bow stand in the morning.

Most Chevy starters are three bolts and your done (on gas engines).

Chevy's are easy to work on, I like that!

Easy enough if you're not on the road and have the tools and lift, know for sure its the starter, and can have a factory starter delivered out in the sticks. With the 4wd and skid plates it makes it a little hard for me to crawl under one and replace a starter on the side of the road without tools or transportation. Vara Chevrolet said they could possibly fit me in in two weeks because of all the factory recalls. Everyone else said the first part of next week before they could get to it. I'm a real happy camper.
