Okay, your favorite multi tool (Leatherman, Gerber, SOG, etc)? GO!

Leatherman Wave. Available for $25 used at the TSA liquidation/Texas State Surplus place on Bolm Road in Austin. Standard steel blade is remarkable at holding an edge. 3 years on the job commercial plumbing, still looks good and all blades work except for the wire cutter that was abused cutting all kinds of non-wire materials.

SOG power assist is what I carry and I have tried them all.

Knives, multi-tools, packs and gear designed to meet the most rigorous requirements for professional use, outdoor adventures, or daily carry.

Gerber. One hand deployment of the pliers and a more comfortable handle when squeezing down hard.

I've always beena Gerber guy, for the same reasons Ironman mentioned, but the compound grip on the SOG is looking nice.

Leatherman. Have an original in my desk at work, a Wave in my truck, a wave on my hip, a Pump in my shell bag and a Cam in my bow case. Let's NOT even talk about all of the ones I have at the bottoms of lakes, rivers and oceans, not the ones that have been worn out and lost!

I really like my leatherman OHT, love the one hand deployment but I think the main blade is a touch small.

Don't forget the Victorinox multi tool. Its much better than the gerber 400 I had.

                            Leatherman Surge.

For what it's worth, Consumer Reports rated the Leatherman the strongest of the multi-tools.

Same here. The Surge is built strong enough to serve as the primary tool for daily use.
