    Audad mount question

Just got my Audad I shot last year back. For the taxidermist out there how much will a set of horns shrink and would they be shorter than what they were when I taped them when I shot him? Seem to be kind of short. I taped about 40 of them around the time I shot mine so I had a little practice on the score sheets. I figured they would lose some mass but the length loss is kind of strange. Figured I would see if anyone had some input on this.

Not real good but are some differences. Just seems a little strange it lost 4". I did a sci scoresheet on all the Audad we killed off the ranch so I went by the book on it.

Yes the hide is the right one. Atleast by the scars anyway. Horns just look different. They measure 26" and 26 1/2". Whenni shot it it was 30 1/8" 29 7/8" and 13 6/8 on the base measurements. Not even close now.

Ridges don't change and you won't lose 4".
Looks like a completely different sheep horn wise.

Main thing that I saw was the ridges and that they didn't sweep more on the ends. Always look for the sweep and flattening before I have people shoot them. Killed 40 of them over 28" in about 60 days. So I had a little to go on. Hopefully I can figure out what happened and see if I can get it fixed
