I posted some info on the effects of the lower oil price per barrel with an optimistic point of view the other day (around the campfire section). Another effect the low oil price has is on properties. Oil companies may begin selling properties at a discount now that the price has dropped. Right now would be a great time to invest in minerals and land in case you are looking to do so. Wish I could, but I'm a broke college student.
