    Cushing Tx Rifle Opener

We had a good weekend on our place in Cushing Tx/ Nacogdoches County. The company and the food were great, and with the cooperating weather made it all better.

I killed a doe with my bow, and another with the .270 on Sunday morning. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

My buddy Don took a big old spike, a doe and a huge cat that weighed in at 43#.

Young bucks were active but the bigger boys were a no show. Click image for larger version

Off of 204 and 865 I believe is the road off of 204. I always look for the Owens Nelson Cemetery sign on right and know I'm close.

If you are hunting on County road 865 then it is off of FM 225, if you are off of Hwy 204 it must be county road 864. I own land on 864.
