    Unexpected visitors in my blind

So I go to climb in stand Saturday evening and I am looking eye level with these. I remembered I had a can of wasp spray in truck so I go back and get it. Lucky it had enough spray for about 1\2 sec. Just long enough to make them fall off chair. Click image for larger version

Ya, if the chair would have been turned any other direction I wouldn't have seen them. I could imagine getting stung in the leg or when I reached down Got it in the arm or hand

Just got an Epipen today for those boogers. Highly allergic. Getting ready for the box blind AKA wasp palace of the winter.

Don't forget to watch for the little slithering suckers in the blind also. I had a snake in there today when me and my son went to get inside. Glad you saw them. That would have been bad hunt.

Ya mine too. Scary part was I was on a ladder 12' up when I opened the door and the chair is a foot from my face. I could see myself falling.

I feel lucky, a lot of things could have gone wrong.

I battled a boat load of those a couple of weeks ago.

Climbed in before daylight and decided to do a flashlight check. Those rascals were in every crack and crevasse they could ram into!

That tower is probably still smoldering!
