    Help with Krivo Blind securing

I just went and picked up my new Krivo blind this weekend. (Thanks Mitch)

I made a circular deck with a step out of treated 2x6 and 3/4" plywood.

My question is: what have you guys had the best luck with in secruing the blind to the deck? wood screews? Using a washer on the blind side? Lag screws? Mabye drilled and bolted?

Going to put in out this evening...thought I'd ask the GS during the day. not too late to change materials.

You can either screw it straight into the deck or both it either way will work

Run 3 bolts around it, then dry wall screw every 6-10 inches around it. No prob

I would do a galvanized nut and bolt with square washers on top and bottom to secure / spread the load

        5/8" bolt with 2"x2"x 1/4" washer

I used four large bolts, the ones that cut into the wood then used foam sealer around the bottom.

too tight it won't sweat, I need a vent very bad

I just ran a bunch of wood or sheetrock screws around mine. About every foot or so. Washers on the blind side. Never had any issues. Very easy.

Side note...if you are ever trying to do something with these blinds and it seems difficult--you are doing something wrong. (not directed at the OP)

I bolted mine. Make sure & use flat washers too.
I also used some exterior grade wood screws in between the bolts to help seal it.
