Polaris RZR extended warranty

Bought my 2014 Rzr a couple months ago. Just got the information in the mail stating factory warranty will run out soon and they offer extended warranty. I have never had an extended warranty on any of my atv's but i've also never purchased an atv that cost the same as a car.... until now.

Any experience with the polaris extended warranty? Want to hear good, bad etc.

When I bought my ranger back in '09, I bought a 3 year extended warranty.

It is just an insurance policy.

I bought one on my ATP330, and about 6 months after the factory warranty ran out, the rear drive shaft came un-manufactured. Took it back to Gene's in Mont Belview and they fixed it right up, no questions asked. Didn't cost a me a dime. That was the only time I had to use mine, but it worked fine for me.

There good Aslong as you don't mod it in any way! Tires or lift or performance items! Best way to cover your self is an atv insurance policy! If you damage it really bad do a claim. And if you have to many beers and really mangle it or screw something up throw a match in the tank! Insurance on my rzr is 409$ a year I have theft,submersion and 5k in accesories covered

I'm at this point with my Ranger. Even though it's not modded, I am contemplating not getting the warranty. WE'll see though.

Thanks - I'm on the fence but quickly climbing down the "dont get it" side. I have it insured heavily through Geico for all the bells and whistles.

Voided warranty first day we get um lift rims and tires snorkel exhaust! Just take care of them and a little maintenance goes a long way
