Has anyone built a 6.5 creedmoor off of a old 1903action ? Can it be done ? Info needed . Really got a good smith that i would love for him to build one up for me . But I want a little different rifle !

I can't really think of any reason why it couldn't be done. Food for thought: It will cost you quite a bit in labor to get it squared up & finding a good stock for the 03 action won't be easy. Also keep in mind that the CM is a short action round and the 03 is a long action, inherent problems there. Are you looking to use this action for a precision build???
