Unique hanging lights

Just returned from a run to Canton. Seeing the variety of things people make 4-5 light hanging lights with has me wondering where you would get the multi socket cord for that.
Does anyone know? Dont want to just splice wires together. Should have asked sone of them but didnt really think about building my own until the drive back.
