How to soften Soft Shell Jackets? First Lite?

Hey guys I have two new First lite North Branch Jackets.

Love First Lite couldn't be more happy with a clothing brand, except..... the noise.

It honestly is slightly louder than many other Soft Shell hunting Jackets ie. Predator, Sitka, Kuiu, etc..

My question is, is there any safe way to soften the fabric slightly without ruining the color or performance. Like I mentioned it's not major but it is noticeable. I do a lot of up close and personal spot and stalk archery and am a little concerned.I have washed multiple times with no improvement.

Any " safe" suggestions to soften the shell?

    Thanks

Wear is the only thing I can suggest. When we first got the Gortex shells in the Army they were loud as well. Great jacket, but loud. After a bit of wear they got nice a soft and weren't nearly as loud.

When I was on active duty we would run our new gear half a dozen or more times through the dryer with 5-6 dryer balls or tennis balls just use air fluff, i.e. no heat.

Yeah I'm may try the tennis balls. Was told to stay away from anything chemical and fabric softners.

These fabrics are much like my alpine climbing gear so I'm gonna stick to Nixwax washing liquid. Helps with softshell materials.
