    Java n a blast!

A few weeks ago a friend offered me a little 20 acre property he had that had been untouched for quite some time. It's not real rural but far enough off the pavement to get a bowhunting fanatics mind wandering. None the less I jumped at th opportunity , especially since it's 8 miles from my driveway. Headed out last Sunday afternoon and set up a feeder and a pop up. Not really knowing what to expect I gave it afew days and headed in with a new excitement of the unknown. First hunt had a few deer come into the corn. Pretty sweet! Sat again this morning. Feeder spun and 4 Javalinas come jogging up. I knew what to do as soon as I saw them. 23 yds to thwackville and then that ever so familiar bark off a ticked of Java. 100 gr.slick trick mag right in the pump house , dropped him in 10 yds. I'm excited for this new place , seems like it's got some potential. Thx for reading, a good thwacking always gets me fired up. I'll be hunting there again in th am and then off to to Fredericksburg for some scenic bowhunts.
