Ty729 - this was at Rocky Creek. He ended up on Ricky's lease.

The deer was in good shape. He had laid down in the shade and didn't make it. The meat was still cool to the touch. He will be made into sausage.

The elk and deer are just from this year. She has trailed multiple animals the last couple of years. Even when I watch one die on the run and have a trail a "blind man can follow", I put her on them. She loves all the little tidbits she gets when we are cleaning the prize.

When you cleaned the buck what vitals did you hit? Deer just cease to amaze me on how far some run on good shots.

Autopsy was not certified by the crime lab, but it appears to have been a slice in the liver.
