    Jeep or side by side

So we are finally putting the old jeep to pasture and we have decided to purchase a new hunting rig. The only stipulations are that it needs to be brand new or have a warranty that covers the vehicle for at least a little while. Also do not want to break the bank prices need to be close to new side by side prices.my concerns and issues are as follows
    1. Jeep is nice because it has heater and ac but is more expensive
    2. Side by sides are more fun and have the bed to carry corn and misc gear
    3. Jeep I street legal and can be driven to town
    4. Side by side will for sure be brand new and hopefully no issues the jeep may be a year or two old and could have some issues that are not desired

Let me know if any of you have made this switch and why you did and what your recommendations are any help would be appreciated.

I have a 2004 jeep wrangler i take out and i love it. It is street legal so i can drive it out to the ranch and load it down with all my gear.

Honestly, depending what you are looking for, you can find older Jeep Wranglers and CJ 5 & 7's for around the same price. Jeeps are very easy to work on as well if needed.

              I have both.

SxS- Easy and fast to get in and out. No climate control. Need covered storage.

Jeep- Takes a little longer to "Get gone". Climate control and radio. Park in the open.

For me, it would be a Jeep. Less dust and keeps you and your guests warm in the cold.

Thanks for all the info just a little more back ground
We had a 1988 jeep for 12 years tired of the rough ride and maintenance since life gets busy with kids and work I want something that is gonna start every time and makes hunting less work not more. That being said if I buy a jeep it would need to be a new 4 door model is the ride better than the old ones?

Man, you're talking ~$35k versus ~$14k. I think it all depends on what you want to spend at this point. AC and heat is not worth the extra ~$21k to me, unless money is no issue.

Disclaimer: I have no clue what a new 4 door jeep costs, I'm just estimating.

I go with the UTV, easier storage, less operating cost, easier to work out of UTV for instance I have a metal roof on my Mule that I can stand on to fill feeders, no need for a ladder. No need to license and less insurance cost.

If you can get everywhere you need with the jeep I say jeep. You can go from the house to the pasture back to the feed store and anywhere else with the jeep. IMO

Look at a bennche. They cost less than your big name SxS. Come with a longer waranty than most. And are street legal.
