I have acouple "friends" that do that to me with duck hunting. I bust my butt and stay on the birds (public land) scout every free chance I get and once they find out I'm killing them they call and ask to go. Don't help pay for boat gas or anything then once they see my spots they bring everyone they know out there to hunt it without telling me. This happened twice, third, forth and fifth time I took them to a spot that I hadn't seen a bird near ever. They lost faith in me and quit calling so I went back to killing birds in peace!

they probably just decided to go back to the first two spots and leave you to your new hotspots. however, it worked!!
If your dad is dead then he is no longer your step brother. That's the way I see it. You don't owe him a single thing. If he's a grown man then he should be making grown man money and buying a grown man lease. Not bum hunts off of you
I had a cousin doing that a few years ago. I told him I had the place booked for the season and that if he wanted a spot next year, he had to show in August (100F weather) with his hat and gloves and ready to get his hands dirty. He never called again and I'm a happy hunter.
