??For those that do day quail hunts on native birds??

Anybody do any "day" hunts for quail on native birds? Was talking to someone the other day about this and was wondering what the going rate was. Probably late season like Jan thru the end of season. Great population of native Bobs and Blues. Also include lodging.
Any body do this maybe by the weekend? Just looking for some pricing ideas so we know what we are looking at.

    Thanks

Last time I heard it was in the $300-400 per day range. That does not include dogs. If dogs are brought in that would be extra. I would go now as the population drops most years by the time January rolls around.

Per person per day. Wild quail hunting places are hard to come by and expensive when you find them.

Dang, I didn't know there were enough native birds left to hunt.

Better hunting is going to be early. The later you wait the fewer birds. I know a guy who guides on the Pitchfork, but not sure what there rates are.

Go to south Texas. Still have a good population of birds and you will find better weather and accommodations that time of year.

Hunting off a front mounted quail jump seat rig is the bomb! Not much walking.
