    Range Finder

    Looking into getting a new range finder. Really dont want to go over the $200 mark. Any suggestions?

    marker tape....i don't have one, so, just mark distances with markers and learn to estimate really well

      been doing that for 15 years. Hava little bday money and thought a range finder would be nice.

        In. I am looking too. They got a bushnell on cabelas that goes to about 550 yards for under 200. Good reviews i think. I will probably get it unless someone tells me otherwise.

          does it do angle compensation if you are going to drop some coinage for a RF for bow hunting, unless you are ground based all the time? just wondering because their bushnell "The Truth Rangefinder" does but it's only good out to about 220yds, but the Bushnell 550 doesn't say it does angle compensation, which I think is the one you are looking at.

            I bought a Simmons a few months ago from Midway < $200 and it works really well. Can't tell you the exact model # but it has the tilt intelligence.

            Try the hunting websites and sort them by top reviews. I'm sure you'll find one in your budget range.

                JusT brought a bushnell scout 1000 arc dx for $172.5 off eBay .
                It works very well
