Good stuff. I had a squirrel pee on me from above while on a lock on in Montgomery county a few years ago. I kept telling him I wasn't into that sort of thing.

That's pretty wild. Had them come pretty dang close before while in the tree, but never on my head. Cool stuff.

Years ago I had one come up to me in the stand and put its front feet on the stabilizer--never had one get on my person. Got spooked once too by an owl. Sitting in the stand before daylight half asleep and feel a vibration in the limb but too dark to see anything.
Glad no one heard me when it hooted--about 3' from me! Didn't see a deer that morning either.

That's cool. Best story I've had like that was sitting in a tree stand just before sunrise all camo'd up and an owl, or hawk, some sizeable bird (could only see the shadow) flew and semi landed on my head. I think when his feet hit my head he knew it wasn't a branch and just kind of did the "touch and go" type of landing. Pretty cool when those things happen in nature. Makes you feel good about being hidden
