How to find a lease

Just curious if anybody knows any good websites to look for a lease in Texas?? The lease I just got invited to hunt this year is turning out to be quite a joke and really don't want my license to go to waste!! Just looking for a place to shoot a couple deer!! Thanks!

Chamber of commerce or city websites sometimes have some decent listings. Paid sites are hit and miss.

The lease is only 160 acres and there are 6 hunters, with 4 of us always there at once. The neighboring property owner sells doe hunts for like $200 a doe, and kills the things like they are unlimited.....he killed over 200 last season alone. All day long there are gun shots going off over there. Also, the guys who invited me to hunt this place with them aren't exactly the most "seasoned" hunters. They drive the trucks all over the place all the time. None of them have the passion for hunting like I do, and they have injured a few bucks in the last couple weeks, and make little to no effort to try and find them. Its a 6 hour drive for me and have made 2 trips out there since late September, and am yet to see a buck. This is my first time ever whitetail hunting, so maybe Im just expecting too much?!

Ouch man...no...you're not expecting too much! You need a better place...bigger, and with a good group of guys!

Stay close to TBH, there's some amazing people here...and consistently some spots show up. I would go nuts trying to hunt where you are!!
