I got mine a week or so later...I save my stamps & do a very small signature on or the outer edge to not ugly it up. Little trick from my Fed GW compadre.

because you could give your real stamp to me and I could put it on my license.

I got mine maybe 2 weeks after buying it online. One guy I know just received it after buying it over a month ago. I guess they are running behind.

Be careful, the envelope they come in looks just like junk mail and my wife pitched it last year. This year I got lucky and she opened it.

                Exactly.

This is also why they require the signature across the face. Otherwise it could be passed around.

Looks like someone sent you the number you need, call them and they will mail you another, no questions asked.

I'm sure there are people that cheat the system and get another free stamp from them every year.

                    Thanks guys.
You might want to print this thread out so you will remember why you're getting a new one in the mail.

Ok it's been 20yrs since I duck hunted and bought a duck stamp. So you can't just go to the post office any more and buy one?

You can, but most people buy it with the license, and they put a 45 day temp down on your license (just a line of text printed on the license), and mail you your real stamp. Charge $2 extra.

Getting harder and harder to find post offices that carry duck stamps.
