Personally I would smoke him and have it fixed. I know some are not into it because it is not how the deer was when he was taken, but it does not bother me to have a little cosmetic work done!

There are 2 other members that have him on camera and I believe they are will not walk him unfortunately

If nobody else is going to let him walk and you say he is the best you have on camera then I would attempt to take him if given the opportunity

If your want him scored for the books, then let him walk. Personally even if I shoot a book deer he will probably not be entered and I am a P&Y scorer. Too much emphasis put on "score" today in my opinion. If it was me, I would smoke him, especially for that area if he is considered "big" and would be your largest buck to date.

I shot a buck in Kansas a few years back that had broken off 8 to 10" of one tine. I got a quote off of a TBH member of $75/inch. No way would I pay that kind of money.
