    Battery Charger Issues???

So for the past month or so I've purchased 3 or 4 different 6/12 and 12 volt chargers from Academy, Buc-ees & the local feed store. I have about 10 batteries less than a year old and not a single one will take a charge. When I plug them in, the charging indicator light automatically turns green showing that the battery is fully charged when indeed it is not. I'm about at my wits end with this crap. I don't know if its the $200 worth of batteries that have been used once or these chargers? Never remember having this much trouble with dang batteries until this year. Anyone else having issues or have any suggestions?

    ....Rant over

I have had to work the clip from the charger back and forth to scrap the battery terminal and get a good connection...also check the water in the cells...

My charger shows green when I plug it in meaning it is charging. Fast flashing green light means it is fully charged. By fast I mean every 1/2 second or so.

If the batteries are completely dead, show no voltage, then they are usually toast.

Make sure there is not a inline fuse

I bet you could take them to your nearest Oriellys and have them tested. Then you will know if they are good and will take a charge, or if they are junk.

On feeder batteries? I think these are sealed.

Yep. I'm talking about feeder batteries. Hook them up with the green light on and let them charge a few hours and see
if the light doesn't go to blinking. Sometimes it takes up to 8 hours or so.
