Bow Range in Lubbock

I am in Lubbock for the next couple of days to watch my son play baseball. Plans are to go shoot our bows this evening after his game. Is there a range or place we could go? I know there is one in Academy but it's only a single lane.

South Plains Archery Club is located on Highway 835 on the west side of the road just north of Buffalo Springs Lake...

Look on their web site, I am not sure if you can go there just for the day but could be worth a call.

Gander Mountain has a range as well

Nope! Not unless you are buying or need work done. They do not have a "shooting" rate.

Weather is nice, you might be able to do a day rate at south plains archery club

I would get a hold of South Plains Archery I think it is something like 30 bucks to join and you get unlimited access to the range and they have a very nice set up out there.

Nope they closed it down, but academy has one I believe, not sure on the status of Lubbock Indoor Archery anymore.

There is a place if it is still open on 1585 south of town and just west of the Tahoka Hwy, north side of the road. Do not know the name of the place and do not know if he is still there. He has a small range and if he opens his overhead door you can shoot a LONG ways. I have only been there once and visited and I will leave it at that.
