I did not think twice about him. Passed on an 8 that was in the 140 maybe 150 range for him. In the name of management.

This is a place I was invited to hunt. They have alot of cull deer are helping with great part is its bow only. Did not save the jaw but did age him using the jaw. Just wondering if anyone would guess an age. He looked to me to be a buck on his way down. The 142 lb field dresses weight was logged with him on a scale.

Thanks Fargus but it dont hurt my feelings. This early in the season Im looking for freezer meat. I will get my monster next month there are some real monster walking this place.anyway he was aged at 6.5 by two people on ranch and 7.5 by another. In my eyes he was a no brainer anyway.
