Last year I peed in a scrape and made my own scrape over it. (tip I got from WCB during bow hunters education.) I hunted that location and got the buck I was after came in and was all sorts of bent or of shape, he went to working that spot over and remaking his mark for what seemed like an hour.

I use a stick most of the time to rough up the ground. No on using your hand.

With your boot... Just move the duff out of the way, till you get fresh dirt. Doesn't have to be fancy. Been doing it for years.

You could put a drip tube over it also. Use Code Blue buck urine.

A buddy of mine use to pee in an aspirin bottle and would pour it in a scrap every time he went to stand. and killed a nice buck checkin it around lake waco. Scouts honor!!!!

I have two mock scrapes in my yard. One I pee in the outer I spit in. They hit it to freshen them up every day!

I stopped believing that my urine scared deer when I peed off my stand 20' up. Had a 6 and an 8 point standing in it 10 minutes later. They wasn't spooked at all.

One of my scrapes I started. Bucks hit it almost every day. You can see the fresh deer pee in the front of the scrape!

I do the same and have watched bucks the next day working it over.
