After reading the disturbing find in the woods thread, I thought this was going to be it's counterpart when I first saw the title...

That's cool. My wife threw away a $12,000 check because she didn't recognize the sender and trashed it as "junk mail

          Did you touch my drumset?!?

Seriously though, I feel your pain. I have the same problem at my house. One of the ones that gets me the most is my flashlights. I probably have to buy 4 or 5 a year because they grow legs and walk off.

I'm still sick over this one!!!! A bunch of stuff got knocked off a table one night and when I came home I started looking for my H&S Mini Max tuner ($1000) for my truck. All the stuff ended up in the trash that got knocked off the table it's been 3 years and 2 house moves still no clue where it went. And no one ever has said a word about it even when asked directly about it.

Yep. I buy 2 or 3 of anything of mine that my wife and/or kids like to "borrow". I hide mine and leave theirs where they can find it and (hopefully) put it back. When they lose it, I tell them to go buy their own. In spite of years and years of me trying to teach them all how to put things back where they are supposed to be kept, none of them ever do. Drives me crazy.

Try being gone 28 days in a row. It is like Christmas when I start opening drawers. Wow, how long has this been here? Thank goodness she has finally stopped opening boxes from TBH shippers!!!!

Add into the mix all my outdoor tool boxes. Everything that has been "needed at the barn" while I was gone is missing. Just bought a big set of CHEAP Harbor Freight tools & painted them bright orange for her to use in the barn before I left last month. We will see how that worked when I get home.

Cleaned out the hay barn this summer to prepare for new hay & found 4 sets of wire cutting pliers & 5 hay hooks. Now I just keep a magnetic on a stick handy to see what is in the hay underfoot. Gotta love her, at least she puts up with me.

Its just the opposite at my house, I lose stuff all the time and my wife puts up with me scrambling around the house digging for it. I'll ask her and even if she's never seen it she can tell me where I left it. I think she's part Jedi or something... Love that woman!

I have a quiver of arrows that has gone into the wife's black hole of stuff. still don't know where she stuck them at.

I wasn't sure I wanted to look at this thread. lol. I like the stapled iphone charger cord idea. I can't tell you how many I've had to buy cause my kids take them and then loose them.

Are you married to my wife's sister?

Looking for the temporary license plate and paperwork for a new boat trailer that I had Coastline build for me. I had it on the breakfast table.

Never to be seen again. They might have accidentally been thrown away.

Sort of like my Tom's Peanut jar from the 30's that wound up with a huge crack in it. Ghosts I guess.

Same thing happened to me but I thought I was in the clear since I set my mods on MY nightstand.....nope she went to cleaning the house one weekend when I was gone and decided my nightstand needed it too. It took a week but finally found them in the garage on my work bench. I had a the allen wrenches with them so she figured they when out there.
