Find My Iphone App - Works

I was done hunting and have a routine when I get back to my truck. Needless to say I left my iphone face down on the bed rail. As I get a mile down the road I realize I can not find my phone.

I pull over and go back and pull out my laptop with my verizon Jetpack for internet. I had a very weak internet signal and the app kept showing the phone in my truck or very close. I tore my truck up with no results.

Had to drive to town to get a better signal for the map. It still showed it back where I was but further down the street than before.

I went back and started walking and I found it almost exactly where it showed it to be on the map.

Has anybody ever used the app?

9 times out of 10 it fell behind the head board or under covers in their bed

you can also set off the alarm or vibrate feature to find it

I have never used it personally but had a pretty funny situation unfold in front of me because of it.

I was living with 2 of my cousins (brothers) and another guy at the time. Roommate couldn't find his phone after a night out so he pulls up the app on my phone and it is showing it at my cousins on again/off again gf's house. Cousin starts to gets mad at roommate while roommate denies everything.

Turns out the phone was in the other cousins truck...apparently younger brother was keeping it in the family

Yup used it to find my girlfriends phone on the lease after it fell out of her pocket

Its is awesome. Out at midnight with some buddies out at his 20,000 acre ranch and stupidly chased after some cows into an open pasture with about three ft. tall grass, phone fell out... around 4 am i realized it was gone and tracked it with his phone and had it pinging.

It is a life saver! Or phone saver I should say. I have lost my phone 3 times in the woods at night and found it every time.
