Big 8, named heads up. He throws his head back every time he eats. Had him in range this weekend but decided to wait, as we have pics of better deer. You may be seeing a live hunt thread for this guy before all is said and done.
If he is throwing his head back I'll bet you either his jaw is busted or his back teeth are ground down. I've seen old bucks do this when trying to eat corn because their teeth are getting bad (I guess).

The first buck you posted MUST be over ten years old. The big 8 was a mistake......You should have killed him.
Haha that is what I was thinking on the first buck. He is super grey in the face, and doesnt put a fight up with any other buck. A 2.5 yr old 8 was pushing him around. Watching him jump over the feed pen is entertaining as well. He will try 3-4 spots around the pen before finally skimming over the lowest area. I cant wait to see his jaw when he is ground checked. And yes, you and everyone else say the same thing about the 8. He seems to be a regular at my spot, so hopefully I will have other opportunities to re-evaluate him. Thanks for the comments!
