EMT Class....

I was an EMT in the mid 90's while I was in the Corps then kind of lost interest until I started volunteering my time with our local VFD about 10 yrs ago.... Fast forward a few years and I got my ECC, well now the local EMS provider has offered a shift class to the county volly departments. So Nov 19th I start class on B shift days not to include weekends or holidays.....

I'm excited!!!! Also, this is solely to assist my community and personal knowledge, not monetary gain (I'm not going backwards!!!!).

Good for you. My wife and I both did the same thing years ago. We both miss the VFD, but age and other commitments got to us. Thank you for serving the community.

I'd like to do the same at some point simply for the knowledge part of it, but I don't have the time to do it right now.

My wife just finished a couple of months ago and got into the St. Davids ER pretty quick. She's now trying to convince me to take the classes also. Good Luck!

Took the class Earlier this year. Moving on to paramedic next. I hope you enjoy it and good luck. Defiantly a lot of knowledge to be gained.
