So this is my first year bowhunting. Unfortunately because I had to buy a bow, arrows, broadheads, camera, feeder, blind.....etc...... I was unable to nail down a good lease. Thanks to a good buddy of mine I do have a place to hunt from time to time. The other day I finally got a chance to seal the deal!! Made a "marginal" shot at best and hit her a little left of where I wanted. (right in the throat) Luckily I switched to a Rage broad head and the damage was done. She only went about 30 yards and crashed right there. Delicious eating and on top of that I have the "fever" more than I thought I would. Hopefully this is the first of many. Next up more practice then........Antlers!!!
