    Windy day wasted hunt?

I know everyone will say you can't kill em back at camp but seriously when it's blowing 20-30mph who has had luck?

Try still hunting. The wind is a great way to cover scent and noise

Yeah, put your face into the wind and move along as slow as you can stand to move looking for bedded deer. You might just put the sneak on one

The buck in my profile picture was killed 20+ mph winds on over hunted property. Get out there and good luck!

Heck I am sitting now. It dies off at times and looks to be slowing

I bet i've killed as many deer in the wrong condition as I've killed in the right and definitely more then I've killed in "perfect" conditions

hunt if you have the time!

I've been in tree stands swaying in the wind. Takes a little to get used to and when you're my size on a small tree it's no fun but I was still up there. I had my safety harness on the tree next to me instead of the one I was sitting in just in case...

Well I've seen three bucks and had two within range. I guess it's worth it.

Ummmm.... you just described about a third of my hunts at home... dress in layers, find out where the natural windbreaks are, and go slaying.
Stalking is easy with winds like that, lots of noise and motion to conceal you.
