Hog hunting with a spear?

Or a knife? Anyone ever done this?

It's one of those things I hear about and see on TV but I figure it's a - Super dangerous and B - inhumane... but I see people blowing up pigs with tannerite so I guess that part isn't a big deal?

I haven't hunted with my spear but I carry one when blood tracking wounded pigs. I don't see it as being any more inhumane than killing one with an arrow.

Seen it done. Would NOT say it's inhumane. It was a very fast kill.

Hog hunting with dogs is the most effective way of hunting them where I'm from. Haven't hunted in a few months due to old dogs, but it's always an adrenaline rush when you hear big hogs chomping their jaws.

I've run dogs with only a knife on my side it's a different type of hunt and a huge rush

From the videos I've seen the animal dies pretty fast. Even seen a video of them doing it with a bear. I think it would be cool as heck to do, and get on video. Gotta have a lot of patience and pigs for it to work though!

Ive killed pigs with a knife when hunting with dogs. Its a rush!
