Too windy for me--gonna catch up on some yard work and wood shop projects. May go in the AM, and tomorrow PM for sure.

Why not? If he comes in, at least you won't have to worry about light swirling winds messing you up. And the wind noise covers a lot of movement. That pig probably won't walk through your living room.

You should get about a 30 min. to an hour window right around sunset at least it usually does around here.

I killed my biggest Hillcountry 8 in wind like this, scored 136" . The tree was blowing so hard I was fixing to climb down and low and behold he showed up.

Wait until about 15 minutes after you think he should be there and then use the wind to stalk up on the feeder.

I doubt it, tomorrow is dance class so my wife goes to College Station for that and I'm on daddy duty with the others. Maybe later in the week.

Same here, killed my biggest on halloween in high winds after a good front had pushed through. He snuck right in under me, I couldn't hear him approach because of the trees blowing. Tree was swaying pretty good too.
